Swachchata Hi Sewa Campaign, 2019
On 20th September, a group of students organized a “Say no to Plastic” rally in Nirankari colony to encourage people to shun plastic bags and do their bit for a safer environment. The participants of the rally including teachers urged the colony residents to ban single use plastic in their houses and also explained about the hazards due to the use of the plastic bags. Holding aloft placards carrying slogans dissuading the use of plastic such as “Say No to Plastic”, “Do Something Drastic; Cut the Plastic” were raised in the colony.
