Tree Plantation Drive by Eco Club

Trees exhale for us so that we can inhale them to stay alive.
Let us love trees with every breath we take until we perish !

A tree plantation drive was organized by Sant Nirankari Public School, Nirankari Colony, on 9th August, 2019, under the supervision of the Principal – Dr. Sarita Pande. Ms. Alka Jairath (Science Faculty) delivered an inspiring message on ‘The Importance of Trees’, in the morning assembly. A rally was also organized in the neighbouring areas, spreading the message of planting more and more trees. About 50 plants of – Neem, Jamun, Palm, Belpatar, Peepal etc. were received from the Government Nursery for the noble cause. All the plants were duly implanted in the school premises with the help of Eco Club students and Helping Staff. The drive concluded with an oath to make our surroundings green.
