71st Republic Day Celebration
Sant Nirankari Public School, Nirankari Colony witnessed the celebration of the 71st Republic Day in all its grandeur on January 26th. Celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood, the entire school joined the school choir in National Anthem as the invited dignitaries hoisted the flag. Post a Shabad from Hardev Vani, the entire breeze was filled with patriotism with a stimulating speech. The little soldiers of Pre-primary showcased an ecstatic dance performance and a tiny-tot recited a patriotic poem on the tri-color. Elaborative skit on constitutional rights and duties, a melodious patriotic song and graceful movements of the dancers of the middle school was spellbinding. The venerable chairperson, Ms Suraksha Bajaj addressed the gathering. She highlighted the importance of each color in the national flag and in our lives. She made the students aware about the significance of the day and urged them to inculcate good values. Dr. Asha Kapoor (Convener, Academic Committee) took pride in our country’s Unity in Diversity and highlighted the duties and responsibilities of the students as future leaders.
