To celebrate the spirit of tourism and to motivate the students to participate in activities showcasing tourism potential of INCREDIBLE INDIA, Sant Nirankari Public School, Nirankari Colony, Delhi, actively became a part of the campaign “PARYATAN PARV”, launched by the Government of India from 5^th to 25^th October, 2017.

In view of the above, following activities were conducted boisterously:

1. Painting Competition – 7th October, 2017
2. Debate (Hindi) – 10th October, 2017
3. Essay Writing (English) – 12^th October, 2017
4. Quiz Competition – 23th October, 2017
5. Special Assembly (depicting the dance forms and cultures of various states in India)- 24^th October, 2017

The above activities were based on themes related to tourism such as:

• Role of Tourism in mutual understanding and social harmony
• Tourism brings economic and social responsibility
• Education and tourism move hand in hand
• Environmentally sustainable tourism
• Tourism promoting plurality of cultures
