A special assembly to celebrate the festival of Basant Panchami was held at Sant Nirankari Public School, Nirankari Colony on 29th January. Celebration commenced with highlighting the importance of the festival which marks the onset of the spring season. Hindi Faculty, Mrs. Sweety enlightened everyone with preaching of Rev. Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and highlighted the importance of Guru in our journey of learning. To pay reverence to Maa Saraswati, Goddess of knowledge, wisdom, music and art, students performed Saraswati Vandana. The Principal shared her unwavering faith in Goddess of knowledge and reiterated that we can propitiate our way to future with the blessings of our spiritual guide Her Holiness Mataji. Along with paying a hearty tribute to Maa Saraswati with School’s headboy and headgirl, Principal mam motivated the students to be progressive learners and put dedicated efforts as a flourishing human harvest. The teaching faculty dressed up in yellow added to the brightness of the celebration. The special assembly concluded with an auspicious Tilak ceremony and prayers for Board classes in the upcoming examination.
