Girls Health and Hygiene
To make girls more informed, stronger and confident to face the changes that occur during adolescence, Sant Nirankari Public School, Nirankari colony organized a two day workshop for girls of classes VI-VIII on 12th and 13th Feb, 2020. On day I, an awareness session ‘Happy Periods Day’ was organized by Ms. Himangini (Science faculty) and Ms Vibha (Medical Incharge). They explained female reproductive system and the changes it brings with age through a presentation and an interactive session. On day II the school collaborated with Procter and Gamble and invited their spokesperson Ms. Anchal Dhankar who stressed on the topic of Girls Health and Hygiene. Addressing the girls she shed light on various physiological and emotional changes that occur during this phase of life. A movie addressing all age related queries and curiosity was shown and an interactive question answer session concluded the workshop.
