Independence Day along with Janamashtami celebration was held in our school on 11th August, 2017. The guests of honour were Mr.Prem Prakash Bhuteja (Manager SNPS, Nirankari Colony), Mrs. Bhuteja and Mr. A K Roy (GANIIT GURU). The entire programme was held under the guidance of our most honourable Principal, Ms. Poonam Syal. The highlights of the programme were as follows:-
- Anchoring by Ms. Himangini and Ms. Ruchika.
- Patriotic Speech by Ruchika – Prakash House
- Flag Hoisting along with National Anthem by the Guests of honour and Principal mam.
- A stunning Yoga and Human Pyramid Drill performed by the middle level students.
- Felicitation for the achievements during the current session 2017-18. (Zonal and Inter School competitions)
- An ecstatic Patriotic dance performance by the toddlers of Pragati house.
- A heart touching patriotic group song by Prerna House.
- Patriotic Skit by Preet House – based upon martyr Bhagat Singh’s Life.
- A vivacious Marathi dance performance by the students of classes X & XI.
- A token of thanks and appreciation letter presented to Mr. A K Roy for his selfless devotion and guidance.
- An Appreciation letter presented to Ms. Shashi Awasthi (Maths Faculty).
- Inspirational message by Mr. A K Roy to the students.
- A Devotional dance performance on the occasion of Janamashtami.
- Patriotic Speech by Mrs. Bhuteja.
- Vote of Thanks and Appreciation by our Honourable Principal Mam.
