Pareeksha Par Charcha – An Interactive Live Session With The Prime Minister
A live Interactive Session was organized on 20th January, 2020, wherein our honourable Prime Minister Mr. NarendraModi, interacted with the school students, especially of Board Classes. This was basically an initiative – ‘Pareeksha Par Charcha’, wherein he counselled the students on how to deal with the examination stress, peer pressure, recognition of inner potential etc. Under the guidance and supervision of the Principal, arrangements were made in the Computer Lab, for the students of classes 10th& 12th along with the teachers and parents, to view the live broadcast.
The historic session began with welcome of the Prime Minister by Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal (Union Minister – Human Resource Development. 2000 students and parents across the country attended the talk show. Almost 30 cr. students across 25 countries benefitted from the session. This has been the third successful consecutive session, which was initiated in the year 2018. The Prime Minister patiently comprehended the queries and responded judiciously. He concluded with a message that – ‘Examination is not life infact it is just a destination to pass by. Trust in yourself – Tomorrow will remain yours and with the same belief we must all rise and grow.’ He apologized for not being able to answer all queries due to restricted time limit. It was a sustainable fruitful session.
Issues addressed by the students are as follows:-
- Students have mood swings on the very thought of appearing for Board Examination due to stress and nervousness.
- How much time and devotion is required for scoring high in Boards?
- How to balance between studies and extracurricular activities?
- Many students use technology, to what extent is it utilitarian?
- What are a student’s duties towards nation?
- Which is the best time to study – late night or early morning?
- How can students fulfill their parents’ expectations, score well and stay relaxed?
- When students enter the examination hall, they become nervous and tend to forget all that they have learnt.
- Students become upset on thinking about their future prospects.
