Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan 2024
‘Say No to Drugs; Yes to Life – A Step towards Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’
To emphasize the school’s reinforcing commitment to a drug-free future, Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was observed, creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of drugs and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life. Commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing the eradication of darkness and ignorance followed by ‘Hardev Bani’ Shabad – ‘Maat Pita ka aadar karna, nitya hi shradha bhaav se’ and an oath taking by students, vowing of making responsible life choices and highlighting the detrimental effects of substance abuse on both individuals and society, the program continued impacting the students strongly. The highlight of the program was a skit performed by the students of class XII, which portrayed the journey of a young person tempted by peer pressure into trying drugs, only to face severe consequences.
The event concluded with a brief address by the Manager Ma’am, who congratulated the participants and reminded everyone that the fight against drug abuse is a collective responsibility of one and all.
