Spreading Awareness on Polling
To encourage voting in the capital for State Assembly Elections, scheduled for 8th February, 2020, Sant Nirankari Public School, Nirankari Colony held a special assembly on 5th February. Social Science Faculty, Ms. Neelu Sikka enlightening the students with the role, significance, eligibility and procedure of polling in the world’s largest democracy highlighted the fact that each vote counts. The assembly concluded with an Oath (Sankalp) for all adults to vote and students were urged to motivate their parents, guardians to exercise their franchise.
