Van Mahotsav 2020
The ‘Van Mahotsav’ was celebrated in Sant Nirankari Public School, Nirankari Colony with lot of enthusiasm on 7th July,2020. A digital assembly to commemorate the National festival of Trees planting was conducted across all classes. Each student planted a sapling in their homes and affirmed their commitment to serving the cause of saving planet Earth. Students of classes I and II also enjoyed rhymes on trees during Circle time while students of classes III, IV and V watched enlightening video on importance of trees. Our little Earth soldiers of Pre-school learnt about gifts we receive from trees through captivating rhymes and planted Tomato slices. Adding more fervor to the proceedings, students took a pledge to plant a sapling, water them, care for them and nurture them personally for a sustainable future.
