Visit to IIT Delhi
Sant Nirankari Public School organized an educational trip for the science sections of XII and XI grades on Saturday, April 21, 2018. The venue was Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Open House opens the campus for the school and college students and public. Students of the prestigious institute display their work including working models, prototypes of future inventions and discoveries. IIT opens its labs also for the visitors to have a glance of various interesting activities. We started from the Department of Design where students had a quality interaction with the faculty members as well as students of the department. Students saw many machines including manually operated Lathe machine, and CNC machines. After visiting the Department of Design the team headed for the Lecture Hall 114 to take part in the quiz organized by the Department of Energy. There were around 200 students of various schools participating in the Quiz Contest. It was a matter of great pride and joy our student Navita Bajaj of class XI A stood first. She got first prize with a certificate from the department.
